ANA President Mr. Camilus Chima Ukah visits the government and people of Benue State over the demise of Professor Jerry Anthony Agada, former President, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and minister of education.
Late Prof. Jerry Anthony Agada who died on 22nd December, 2020, "is a literary gaint who played the role of a friend, father, colleague and mentor to so many great people across different generations, tribes and nationalities" said Dr. Camilus Chima Ukah.
He thanked the State leadership for the unwavering support Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) received over the years, especially under this current administration. We need more, to enable writers meet the kenetic goals sets association.
And appreciates the Benue State Governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom members of the Association for their show of love and respect for the late Literary Icon whose wealth of knowledge and legacy shall continue to be a blessing to all. He described the death of Prof Jerry as a great loss to not just the State but to the entire nation as Prof. Jerry has contributed immensely to every area of humanity he served.
It's great, hearing the Governor, ably represented by his Deputy Engr. Benson Abonu, who's besides the State head of service and commissioners, promising more literary support in the State, said Camilus Chima Ukah.
