Nigerian Authors Congratulate ANA President, Camillus Ukah, on 58th birthday

 

NIGERIAN AUTHORS CONGRATULATE ANA PRESIDENT, CAMILLUS UKAH, ON 58TH BIRTHDAY

The Council of Chairmen and Secretaries of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has congratulated ANA President, Camillus Ukah, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

 

A statement by one of the representatives of the Council, Edward Oviawe who is also the Chairman of ANA Edo commended Camillus Ukah for his contribution to the growth and development of ANA which had elevated the profile of the Association and added value to its integrity.

 

Another representative of the Council, Opeyemi Babayemi the current Chairman of ANA Kwara recalled that the celebrant played a significant role in stabilizing the literary body after the botched Enugu 2019 national elections.

 

Also the Chairman of ANA in Niger state, Dr. Ndagi Abdullahi lauded the performance of Camillus Ukah, According to him, Camillus Ukah deserves all the accolades as he has led the largest writers’ body in Africa well since he assumed leadership in 2020.

 

Abubakar Dauda Mubi, ANA Yobe Chairman called Camillus Ukah an ambassador of Peace. Part of his statement read “Camillus Ukah, you have given yourself to the course of peace and development of our association. You have never arrested or sued any ANA member to court, for this; we owe you an enduring debt of gratitude.

 

Also describing him as a Kinetic President, the Chairman of his state chapter, Imo State Chapter, Chukwuma C. Ibezute described Camillus Ukah as one personality that has weathered the storm in difficult circumstances and has come out stronger and has remained ever determined to ensure the continuous unity and harmony among members of ANA.

 

Hon. Taiwo Akerele, ANA Abuja Chairman in his own message said the literary savvy so far exhibited by Camillus Ukah in administering the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), particularly in the aspects of members' unity and welfare is indeed worthy of note and should be emulated by all ANA members.

 

Dr. Chika Ose-Agbo, ANA Nassarawa Chairman finally prayed God to continually increase the wisdom and knowledge of Camillus Ukah as he works harder in promoting the legacy of the founding fathers of the largest writers body in Nigeria and Africa.
