ANA CONGRATULATES OBARI GOMBA, WINNER OF THE PAN-AFRICAN  WRITERS ASSOCIATION'S POETRY PRIZE 2022

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) heartily congratulates Dr. Obari Gomba on winning the Pan-African Writers Association’s Proetry Prize 2022 with his highly engaging and absolutely absorbing volume of poems 'The Lilt of the Rebel. A statement issued by ANA General Secretary Maik Ortserga said on Thursday said"Gomba's success does not come as a surprise, given his literary antecedents. 

The statement further described the visiting professor at Oxford University  as one of the most committed writers and literary scholars in contemporary Nigeria who has continued to make ANA proud. The statement revealed that Gomba has always put his touch-stone ideas to the service of ANA and we can not shy away from celebrating his success and we believe that the best is yet to be heard about Obari Gomba"
