ANA President Camillus Ukah greets Christians on Easter

 

ANA PRESIDENT CAMILLUS UKAH GREETS CHRISTIANS ON EASTER

ANA President, Camillus Ukah has extended greetings and best wishes to all Nigerian citizens, especially to members of the Christian Community on the occasion of Easter.

In his Easter message made available through ANA Publicity Secretary (South), Wole Adedoyin, ANA President said, ‘Easter is celebrated across the world to commemorate the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. For Christians, Easter is deeply symbolic as it epitomises the essence of the Christian faith being the triumph of sacrificial love over the devil’s plans to keep mankind in perpetual bondage. He further observed that writers share the same essence since freedom is both central and important as thematic preoccupation for the art.

ANA President then called on the Christian community to remember the true meaning of Easter and to use the festive period for positive purposes that will bring smiles to the lives of fellow compatriots, while strictly observing the COVID-19 safety rules already in place in the country.
