ANAMBRA ILLEGAL CONVENTION: ANA ISSUES A DISCLAIMER
The attention of the Incorporated Trustees of Association of Nigeria Authors and the National Executive Council has been drawn to a purported convention of the Association scheduled to hold in Anambra State on the 10th-13th day of December 2020 by a group of persons led by one Mr. Ahmed Maiwada.
The Incorporated Trustees and the NEC of the Association hereby dissociate themselves from the said Convention. They never authorized it nor had knowledge of such illegal convention purported to be held in the name of the Trustees of the Association. Also, Mr. Ahmed Maiwada and his group have been expelled from the Association for various acts aimed at undermining the progress of the Association.
Finally, members of the public are advised to be wary of making or entering into any contract with the said group as doing so does not have the sanction of the Trustees of the Association.
