ANA GREETS CHRISTIANS ON CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
As Nigerian Christians join others around the world to celebrate Christmas, the National President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Mr. Camillus Ukah has felicitated with them as they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Mr. Camillus Ukah, in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary (South) of the Association, Wole Adedoyin, urged Christians to use the festive occasion to pray for unity, peace and prosperity of the country.
The Statement further said that this year Christmas is an opportunity for Christians to seek the face of God in prayers to heal Nigeria and the world of the rampaging COVID-19.
It reiterated that “despite the pandemic which is waging a war against the world, we must be grateful because we are alive and among those who will witness the better days ahead”,
Mr. Camillus Ukah called on all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasise tolerance, patience, brotherly kindness, care for the needy and love for one another, among other virtues.
ANA President finally urged ANA Members and Nigerians to abide by the Federal government’s guidelines on COVID-19 and observe the social distancing directive which is another proactive measure that will protect them from contracting the Coronavirus.
