NWAJIUBA, NWOYE, AL-BISHAK TO BE CONFERRED ANA FELLOWSHIP
The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has named three literally icon as the new fellows of ANA, they are Prof Chinedum Nwajiuba, VC AEFUNAI, Prof May Nwoye, Former ANA Vice President, member of ANA Advisory Council and Prof Mallam Al-Bishak, founding Chairman of ANA Nasarawa by the advisory and the national executive council of the Association of Nigerian Authors under the leadership of Camillus Ukah.
This was contained in a press statement issued and signed by Camillus Ukah, the President of the Association in Owerri on Friday.
Camillus Ukah said that the nominations of Prof Chinedum Nwajiuba, Prof May Nwoye and Prof Mallam Al-Bishak into the prestigious circle of distinguished elders of the Association is in recognition of their literary and scholarly excellence and their devoted service to the progress of the Association over the decades.
According to him “The ANA fellow designation reflects achievement at the highest level of writing practice and excellence; we look forward to honoring these three great wordsmiths and thanking them for their contributions to ANA and creative writing in Nigeria”.
The induction into the fellowship will take place at the Opening ceremony of the 39th International Annual Convention of the Association scheduled for 3rd of December in Ilorin, Kwara State.
