ANA TO HOLD PANEL DISCUSSION IN HONOUR OF JP CLARK AT HER 39TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION IN ILORIN, KWARA STATE.
The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) is set to hold a Heavily Loaded Panel Discussion in Honour of JP Clark at her 39th Annual International Convention in Ilorin, Kwara State.
This was made known through a press statement issued and signed by the National President of the Association, Mr. Camillus Ukah in Owerri on Tuesday.
The Panel discussion will feature important personalities and resource persons with a range of artistic interest in poetry, prose, drama, theatre, translation, art administration, academics, and journalism. The panelists are Prof. Femi Osofisan as Chairman, Prof. Olu Obafemi, Prof. Akachi Ezeigbo,Prof. Sam Ukala, Dr. Wale Okediran, Prof. Remi Raji, Prof. Sunny Ododo and Prof. Mabel Evwierhoma.
The theme of the panel discussion is " JP Clark: The Resonance of a Writer’s songs”.
The Panel Discussion is part of the programmes designed by ANA to pay last respect to the ace writer Professor J P Clark who died on the 13th of October 2020.
This event is free and open to the public. It will take place on the 4th of December, 2020 at the African People’s Hall, Mustapha Akanbi Foundation (MAF), GRA, Onikanga Ilorin, Kwara State.
The Panel Discussion will be moderated by Dr. Amanze Akpuda and Dr. Obari Gomba.
