ANA IMO ELECTS NEW EXCO

 

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Imo State Chapter has elected a nine member executive committee (EXCO) to run the affairs of the Association for two years.

The election took place during ANA Imo’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) that was held last week in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.

ANA Imo Election Organizing Committee reports that Chief Chukwuma Ibezute emerged the Chairman, while Mr  Chukwuebuke Abara was elected Secretary.

In his acceptance speech, Chief Chukwuma Ibezute promised to run an open door and inclusive administration. He further solicited the unflinching support of ANA Imo members to enable the new EXCO to succeed.

Other elected officials included, Mrs Thessy Ofoegbu- Vice Chairman, Mr Innocent C Ogoke- Vice Secretary, Mr Nwokedi Nwa Nwokedi- Financial Secretary, Mr Enyeribe Beverly- Treasurer, Mr. Paul Otumbadi- Auditor general, Ajoku Bright chibunna Chineke (ABC Chineke), Publicity Secretary and Comr. Chiekezi Reginald I.(Hon)- Provost
