ANA Kogi State Chapter gets New EXCOS for 2021-2023

 

ANA KOGI STATE CHAPTER GETS NEW EXCOS FOR 2021-2023

 

Following the expiration of the tenure of the 2019-2021 Dr. Ken led Executives, the Kogi State Chapter of Association of Nigeria Authors held a fresh election last week Friday, 23rd of April, 2021 at its usual meeting venue, Awodi Close to elect its new Executives that will run its administration from 2021-2023 under the supervision of a National Representative, Mrs. Lola Gbogbo.

The new Chairman is Mr. Joel Tope Ebenezer. Other members of the Executive are:

Mrs. Florence A.  Elegba as Vice Chairperson, Mr. Monday Ayegba as the Secretary, Mrs. Awodi Mame as the Assistant Secretary, Mr. Daniel Abu as the Treasurer. Others include Mrs. Tolu Olugbemi as the Auditor, Mr. Shola Ogunleye as the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ogbuagu Chikezie as the Librarian, Mrs.  Obaromi Funke as the PRO, West, Pastor  Mrs. Lola Bala-gbogbo as the Ex-Officio I and the immediate past Vice Chairman/Acting Chairman emerged the Ex-Officio II.

While appreciating the resilience of the Kogi State Chapter of ANA despite it several challenges, the National President, Mr. Camillus Ukah enjoined the newly elected officials to be alive to their responsibilities as they strive to reposition the State Chapter for a better ANA especially being an active participant in the forthcoming ANA @ 40 Celebration. He  congratulated the immediate past Executives for doing their best in maintaining peace and order in the Chapter. He was represented by the Ex-Officio I, Mrs. Lola Gbogbo.

Similarly, the immediate past Acting Chairman, Umar Yakubu Ali charged the new Executive to be fair to all concerned in moving ANA Kogi State Chapter forward as he handed over the mantle of leadership to the brand new, hardworking, loyal and humble Chairman, Mr. Joel Tope Ebenezer.

The new Chairman, Mr. Joel Tope Ebenezer, while accepting the mantle of leadership from the outgone acting Chairman, assured members of doing his best, humanly possible, to make sure that the goals set by the founding fathers of ANA are achieved as he solicited for the co-operation of all.
